Managing affiliates

Find affiliates, move them between programs, set custom rates and create password links.

The Affiliates page lists everyone who joined one of your product's programs. Affiliates join through a signup link; you cannot add or delete them by hand. What you can do is move them between programs, give them a custom rate and create password links.

The affiliates list

Search by Name, email or code. With two or more programs, filter by program with All programs. Clear resets both. The list puts the affiliates with the most sales first, 25 per page.

Column	Shows
Name	The affiliate's name.
Code	The code of their primary link, the one they signed up with.
Program	The program they are in.
Clicks	Clicks on all their links.
Sales	Sales they referred.
Earned	Their commissions, voided ones left out, per currency.
Rate	Their percentage. A custom rate is marked with a pencil.
Still paying	Referred subscribers still paying, out of all referred. Recurring programs only.
Joined	When they signed up.

Click a row to open the affiliate. The panel shows their email and join date, their program and rate, their payout details (or Not given yet), their password status, every link with its clicks, and their commissions with a status for each.

Move an affiliate to another program

Open the affiliate
Pick the new program in Program and press Change
Their links, clicks and commissions stay as they are. Sales recorded from now on use the new program's terms, including renewals from customers they referred earlier.

This is how you fill an invite-only program: the affiliate signs up to an open program, then you move them.

Set a custom rate

A custom rate replaces the program's percentage for one affiliate. The duration, time to buy and hold still come from the program.

Open the affiliate
Type a percentage in Custom rate and press Set
Any value above 0 and up to 100, in steps of 0.01. Rate then reads, for example, 25% (custom) instead of (program default).

To go back to the program's rate, press Use default. Either change applies to sales recorded afterwards; existing commissions keep their amount.

Create a password link

Supaffi sends no email, so when an affiliate forgets their password, or never set one, you give them a link to set a new one.

Open the affiliate
Password shows Set or Not set yet.
Press Create password link, then Copy
The link looks like https://affiliates.yourapp.com/affiliates/password?token=<token>.
Send it to the affiliate yourself
They open it, enter a New password of at least 12 characters and press Save and log in.

A link works once, for 3 days.
Creating a new link cancels any earlier link for that affiliate that was not used.
An expired or used link shows "This link has expired or was already used. Ask for a new one."
